KARJAT, Turkey — Students on the first day of their classes at Universitişt de Karjatsİr University in Turkey must use diapers to keep themselves clean and dry.UCSUNK’s director of public health and sanitation told the news agency that students were forced to use the plastic bag in order to use restroom facilities.
“The bags have become the most popular choice for the students.
They are disposable and are made of plastic, which is considered more safe than other disposable products,” the director, Hüseyin Cey, said.
According to the university, the bags can be reused or used for other purposes.
“They are not used to treat the body, they are used to keep the students hydrated,” Cey said.
The university’s director said that they are aware that the bags are disposable, but they are not trying to hide it.
“We don’t have any plans to use them for cleaning purposes,” Ceci said.
The director said they are also trying to ensure that students are not exposed to a lot of dust and odors during the school day.
The school was established in the 1950s.
Its enrollment stood at around 2,500 students.
