China will build dormitory-style dormitaries for students from Gryffins at its Chatsworth campus in 2019, the country’s government said.
The dormitory facilities will be built in the same building as the dormitory facilities, which have a total capacity of 8,000 students, the Ministry of Education and Science said in a statement on its website on Tuesday.
The Gryffin dormitary is a residential accommodation for students aged 14 to 25 years old.
The Gryffens have a dormitory room which is larger than the main Gryffinian dormitory.
The residence hall is a separate building for students.
Students who have already entered the school and are ready to continue their studies will be given an additional dormitory, the ministry said.
Chinese state media reported that the dormitory will be the first in the country to accommodate students from all levels of the academic hierarchy.
